About me
With more than 20 years in education, I have served as a teacher, coach, and school leader dedicated to helping students succeed. I spent most of my career as a high school physical education teacher and coach, highlighted by leading my varsity baseball team to a state championship in 2025.Over the past four years, I have transitioned into administration, serving as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Miller Junior High/High School before becoming Principal at Billings Elementary. A defining moment in my career came in 2021 when our school lost two student-athletes to suicide within two months. That experience reshaped my approach to leadership, reinforcing the importance of relationships, mental health, and creating a culture where every student and staff member feels seen, valued, and supported. In addition to my school leadership role, I serve as a speaker for Athletes Against Anxiety and Depression, advocating for mental health awareness, resilience, and the power of connection in schools and athletic communities.
